Study Objective
To evaluate the effects of physical activity combined with dietary supplementation on inflammatory markers in older adults.

Short Abstract
This systematic review analyzes 11 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving 638 older adults. The review assessed the effects of exercise and dietary supplementation on inflammatory markers, finding that most studies observed a decrease in pro-inflammatory cytokines and a slight increase in anti-inflammatory markers. The review emphasizes the need for more well-designed studies to confirm the potential synergistic effects of exercise and supplementation.

Inclusion Criteria

Physical activity (resistance training, aerobic exercises) and dietary supplementation (amino acids, proteins, omega-3, vitamins)
