Short Abstract
This review highlights the rapid economic and social transition Vietnam has undergone, resulting in significant changes in morbidity and mortality patterns. The country has made strides in reducing communicable diseases, but this has been accompanied by a rise in NCDs, such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. The country also faces environmental health threats like air pollution and road traffic injuries.
