Study Objective
To synthesize the enablers and barriers that influence the long-term sustainment of school-based nutrition programmes.

Short Abstract
This review analyzes the enablers and barriers to sustaining school-based nutrition programmes (≥ 2 years). The study identifies 34 factors across five domains of the Integrated Sustainability Framework (ISF) that influence programme sustainment, including organizational readiness and external partnerships.

Study Design
Systematic review with deductive coding using the Integrated Sustainability Framework.

Population
School-based nutrition programmes and stakeholders involved in their implementation.

Sample Size
13 studies included.

Inclusion Criteria
Studies on school-based food and nutrition programmes lasting ≥ 2 years.

Exclusion Criteria
Studies not focusing on school-age children (5–14 years) or programmes of less than 2 years duration.
