Study Objective
To assess the impact of nutrition-focused interventions on lowering cardiovascular risk in women who had hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP).
Short Abstract
This systematic review examines the effectiveness of nutrition interventions aimed at reducing cardiovascular risk factors in women post-HDP. While the findings suggest clinically meaningful improvements in cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure, the results were not statistically significant, highlighting the need for further high-quality studies to design and implement effective nutrition-based preventive cardiovascular care for this high-risk population.
